Craft Club

The craft group has started back again, and is now led by members.

We meet fortnightly, on a Thursday afternoon from 1.00pm until 3.00pm, starting back from Thursday 9th September.  At the sessions, the members can work on their own craft projects, whether that is knitting, crocheting, felting, rag-rug making, or something different.

We will also be able to join in a project decorating bags and items that will be donated to local hospices for patients.  We’ve also started making Christmas crafts in the run-up to the festive season.

Between July 2019 and Jun 2021, the group had been run by Helen from the Next Steps charity in Malton, as part of the charity’s outreach work.  The group tried crafts such as felt making, decoupage, paper folding, making pin boards, Christmas wreaths, and macrame amongst others!

From the summer of 2021, after Next Steps’ involvement was completed, the craft group members decided that they had enjoyed meeting up together and learning all sorts of craft projects, and they would continue with the group.

If you’d like to come along to the craft sessions or want more information please contact Gill –

If you’ve not been before but would like to come, please get in touch so we know for numbers.
