Farndale Village Hall Dominoes
Domino drives have been held at the Village Hall each winter for decades – for at least the last 50 years!
In 2019, with the new village hall being built, we decided to try the domino drives in the summertime too. These were a great success – and brought new people to play from nearby villages and dales too. These were run on the first Friday of each month.
During the pandemic dominoes stopped, and re-started again in October 2021. Hand sanitiser is available on tables for players to use between games, and we ensure the Hall is kept ventilated.
Start time is 7.00pm. It costs £2 to play for adults, £1 for children. There is a break for a cup of tea & biscuits half-way through, and a raffle at the end. (Donations of prizes are welcome and gratefully received.) Everyone is welcome – come and join in!
The winter series (October to March) has now finished and was won by Andy Fawbert. The summer series begins in May and will generally be on the first Friday of each month (except June when it will be the second Sunday).
