Farndale Film Club

Farndale Film Club was originally set up in 2015 to bring the cinema to our community!

We successfully applied for funding from the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, who offered us the money we needed for the initial equipment we needed to run our own rural cinema.

A member of the community with a keen interest in films volunteered to run the Film Club and it began meeting monthly.

Between 2015 and early 2020 there have been 44 films shown, plus a further nine films specifically to our Farndale Kids Club.  Audiences have seen a huge variety in genres – from thrillers to biographies, comedies, family favourites, musicals and sci-fi films.

The Film Club generally meets monthly, on the third Friday of each month.

Farndale Film Club operates as a members’ only club – for membership and information about the films being shown please contact Jason (Ferd)

It runs on a donations basis, with snacks, hot and soft drinks available, or bring your own.
