Farndale Pool Nights

The Farndale Pool Team is involved in the Esk Valley Pool Team League – a local league that meets weekly in the spring and summer months.

Due to Covid, in 2020 and 2021, the league hasn’t been running fixtures.

Between the league’s seasons, people in the dale were still keen to practise and play games amongst themselves.  A couple of keen players got together and set up a series of community fixtures running from October to March.

These took place on most Monday and/or Tuesday nights from 8.00pm.  In the 2019/20 games, around 16 people were involved.  Players made a contribution to be involved, and the Farndale Community Pool Players hired the hall.

The local Farndale pool players have started meeting up again.

They are currently meeting up each Tuesday night from around 8.00pm at the Village Hall (apart from the 2nd Tuesday of each month during the winter October-March when Dominoes is on).  From around May onwards there will be league matches, some playing away some at home.

For information on how to get involved please contact Mike Sunley.
