Women’s Institute

Nationally, the Women’s Institute has been inspiring women for more than 100 years.

A group of women first set up Farndale’s Women’s Institute in 1932 and it is still going strong after all those years!  Originally meeting at the School House in Farndale, when the first Village Hall was established it moved there, and now meets at the new Hall.

Farndale’s Women’s Institute operates on similar lines to other WI groups – a monthly meeting, with speakers of interest, particular topics to discuss, and always supper and cake!

PLEASE NOTE – Due to coronavirus the WI is not currently meeting.

The group meets on the third Thursday each month at 7.30pm.  New members are welcomed – for information about how to join please contact Carolyn Jarvis via email chippy@moorsweb.co.uk
