Yoga

Weekly yoga classes had been running at the Village Hall from October 2019 to March 2020, when coronavirus struck and classes came to a stop.

From autumn 2020, we began a further series of yoga classes and have a new tutor, Liz Vowles.  Again, with the national lockdowns classes stopped, and we are pleased to be back in May 2021.

Liz’s Yoga classes begin and end with relaxation allowing you to connect with the breath and begin to let go of tension in the body. We move though a gentle sequence of postures and movements, ending with relaxation. By the end of the class you will feel wonderfully calm and centered.
Liz trained with Anne-Marie Newland in Sun Power Yoga, a blend of Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Sivananda yoga styles.

The cost per person is £7. Please bring your own mat and a bottle of water, plus a blanket and cushion for the relaxation at the end of the class.  Everyone welcome.

Classes start at 11.00am until around 12.30pm.

Next classes in May are in a three-week block – Thursday 19th May, Thursday 26th May

In June, classes will be weekly in a four-week block:

Thursday 9th June, Thursday 16th June, Thursday 23rd June and Thursday 30th June
