Weekly yoga classes had been running at the Village Hall from October 2019 to March 2020, when coronavirus struck and classes came to a stop.

From autumn 2020, we began a further series of yoga classes and have a new tutor, Liz Vowles.  Again, with the national lockdowns classes stopped, and we are pleased to be back in May 2021.

About Liz’s Yoga

Friendly and approachable yoga classes suitable for all abilities.
Discover the benefits of yoga for your health and wellbeing.
Liz’s Yoga classes begin and end with relaxation allowing you to connect with the breath and begin to let go of tension in the body. We move though a gentle sequence of postures and movements, ending with relaxation. By the end of the class you will feel wonderfully calm and centered.
Liz trained with Anne-Marie Newland in Sun Power Yoga, a blend of Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Sivananda yoga styles.
Please contact Liz on for more information.

Classes run fortnightly on Thursdays.  The cost per person is £5. Please bring your own mat and a bottle of water, plus a blanket and cushion for the relaxation at the end of the class.

Numbers will be limited due to social distancing, please contact Gill Aconley to book your space via

Classes re-started in May 2021.  The last date before the summer break is:

Thursday 22nd July – yoga class at 11.00am

We will then start back again fortnightly from Thursday 16th September – with classes moving from a 1.00pm start, to now be a morning class and starting at 11.00am.
