Yoga

Weekly yoga classes had been running at the Village Hall from October 2019 to March 2020, when coronavirus struck and classes came to a stop.

From autumn 2020, we began a further series of yoga classes and have a new tutor, Liz Vowles.

Friendly and approachable yoga classes suitable for all abilities.

Liz’s Yoga classes begin and end with relaxation allowing you to connect with the breath and begin to let go of tension in the body. We move though a gentle sequence of postures and movements, ending with relaxation. By the end of the class you will feel wonderfully calm and centered.
Liz trained with Anne-Marie Newland in Sun Power Yoga, a blend of Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Sivananda yoga styles.

Classes run fortnightly on Thursday afternoons 1.00pm – 2.45pm.

The cost per person is £5. Please bring your own mat and a bottle of water, plus a blanket and cushion for the relaxation at the end of the class.

Classes began on 1st October.

We had to stop running classes with the November national lockdown, and again from the end of December 2020 as the hall is effectively closed until further notice.
